For me, there’s nothing more luxurious than a facial. On the rare occasion that I treat myself to an appointment, I enjoy every second of the facialist enveloping me in a cloud of steam as she gently massages in expensive products and uses fancy tools to make me look moisturized, glowy, and rejuvenated. How do you use it?
Perhaps the best part about the FOREO BEAR is how easy it is to use and that it delivers results in such a short amount of time. After I unboxed the device, I downloaded the FOREO app to learn more about the product and how to get started. I highly recommend using the app because it walks you through registering your BEAR, personalizing the device’s settings, and using the tool to get the best treatment possible.
Perhaps the best part about the FOREO BEAR is how easy it is to use and that it delivers results in such a short amount of time.
After applying FOREO’s SERUM SÉRUM SERUM—they recommend using their lightweight formula with the BEAR, but you can substitute your favorite serum, too—I used the app to select my first BEAR treatment, the “Total Facial Knockout.” From here, the app controls your device’s microcurrent intensity and walks you through the treatment step by step, with videos on where to hold the gadget on your face and neck and how to correctly execute the moves.
On FOREO’s site, they advertise the BEAR with the cute slogan “Feels Like Face Yoga,” and that’s a perfect way to describe the experience of using this device. As you use light pressure to glide the BEAR up your neck, across your jawline and cheek contours, and on your forehead up toward your hairline, you’re quite literally sculpting your face. It not only feels relaxing, but the pulsing massage from the microcurrent spheres also gives your skin a boost of energy that instantly leaves your face looking smooth, radiant, and lifted.

What are the benefits?
After only a few weeks of using the FOREO BEAR, I can already see some positive changes—and, most importantly, I can feel them. Not only do my neck and face feel more firmed and toned, but the device additionally keeps my skin looking bright, hydrated, and glowy because the BEAR’s spheres help all of my skincare products absorb into my skin.

Is it worth the investment?
So how does the BEAR compare to those $200 professional facials I mentioned at the beginning of this article, you ask? The BEAR is definitely an at-home skincare investment priced at $299, but it’s an investment I highly recommend making for several reasons.
First, the BEAR is a one-time purchase (unlike getting regular facials), comes with a two-year warranty, and doesn’t require you to buy any replacement or add-on parts. The device is made to last and can be used up to 90 times between USB charges, making it one less thing you have to worry about recharging. Plus, its compact size and included storage pouch make it easy to pack when you’re traveling to bring your skincare on the go.
