Expertise

Lauren’s passion for lifestyle content began in middle school when Bethany Mota reigned as the queen of social media, and the “it girl” beauty products were Maybelline Baby Lips rather than Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Peptide Lip Balm. Since then, she has been thumbing through magazines, binge-watching YouTube videos, and voraciously consuming any content that allows her to dive into pop culture and keep up to date on lifestyle trends. After years of reading, watching, and listening, she is always looking for ways to put her amassed knowledge to good use in an article!

Experience

In college, Lauren combined her lifestyle interests with journalism, pursuing her Bachelor of Journalism and minor in film studies while working for Vox Magazine, Are We Europe Magazine, Austin Monthly Magazine, her blog, Shoot the Breeze, and more. Since graduating, she has continued writing for her blog, contributed to the publication Byline, and now joins The Everygirl team.

Fun Stuff

Lauren is a huge bookworm and cinephile! You can often find her scouring Goodreads and Letterboxd for her next read or watch. When she’s not glued to her Kindle or TV, she loves to try new workout classes. Her most recent obsession is attending barre classes armed with an oversized water bottle (yes, she fell victim to the Stanley trend…) and a matching workout set!
