Editor & Book Club Co-Host
Lauren Blue

As an Editor for The Everygirl, Lauren ideates and writes content for every facet of our readers’ lives, from must-read books and behind-the-scenes interviews to beauty products she can’t live without. When she isn’t sitting in an AMC watching the latest buzzy release, she can be found scouring Goodreads for the perfect pick for The Everygirl Book Club. There, she co-hosts discussions with members, debating plotlines, fancasting characters, and, of course, tossing in her own recommendations.

Expertise

Lauren’s passion for lifestyle content began in middle school, during the era when Bethany Mota was the queen of social media and Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm was the ‘it girl’ beauty product. Since then, she has been thumbing through magazines, binge-watching YouTube videos, and voraciously consuming content that delves into pop culture and lifestyle trends. After years of reading, watching, and listening, she’s always on the lookout for opportunities to put her extensive knowledge to good use in an article!

Experience

In college, Lauren combined her passion for lifestyle content with journalism by pursuing a Bachelor of Journalism and a minor in Film Studies. During this time, she gained experience working for Vox Magazine, Are We Europe Magazine, Austin Monthly Magazine, her personal blog, and more.

Fun Stuff

Lauren is a huge bookworm and cinephile! You can often find her browsing Goodreads and Letterboxd for her next read or watch. When she’s not engrossed in her Kindle or TV, she enjoys trying new workout classes and tracking down every viral sweet treat in NYC.
