Breaking news for parents of littles: your baby’s favorite celebrity, Ms. Rachel, is officially coming to Netflix later this month! Rachel Accurso, AKA Ms. Rachel, an educator and mom, has been entertaining millions of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers since 2019 on her YouTube Channel. She is a bonafide baby celebrity that parents love, too. In fact, you’ll see parents dressing as Ms. Rachel for Halloween or using her content as a parenting hack to soothe their fussy toddler all over social media.
In 2024, Ms. Rachel was a top-earning creator, with Forbes estimating her earnings at $11.9 million. She has also collaborated with Elmo from Sesame Street and launched a line of educational toys. Now, her debut on the world’s most popular streaming service takes her success to another level. Not to mention, it’s a blessing for parents who won’t have to explain to grandparents how to work “the YouTube” when they babysit. Not to mention downloading episodes to watch without Wi-Fi when traveling. Here’s everything we know about Ms. Rachel’s upcoming show on Netflix.
When Does Ms. Rachel Come to Netflix?
On Tuesday, January 14, the official @netflix Instagram account posted an announcement video featuring Ms. Rachel with the caption, “HUGE news for parents (and littles) everywhere! Some of your favorite @msrachelforlittles songs and lessons are coming to Netflix [on] January 27!” Four new episodes of Ms. Rachel’s uber-popular videos will become available to stream on that date, with more to follow.
How Many Ms. Rachel Netflix Episodes Will There Be?
According to Netflix, the first Ms. Rachel season will begin with four compilation episodes, each including interactive lessons that teach letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and more, likely similar to her YouTube videos. The first four episodes are:
- Learn to Talk — “What’s in the Box?” Speech and Toddler Learning
- Baby Learning — First words, Milestones, Nursery Rhymes, and Songs
- Learn to Read — Phonics, ABCs, and Preschool Learning
- Hop Little Bunnies — Plus More Songs and Nursery rhymes
But this seems to be just the beginning for Ms. Rachel on the streaming platform, with Netflix promising more episodes. Plus, each episode will be in English with subtitles for 33 languages, giving Ms. Rachel even more global reach!
Will Ms. Rachel Still Be on YouTube?
For parents who don’t want to add another streaming service to their family budget (Netflix subscriptions can range from $6.99 to $22.99 per month), the original Ms. Rachel episodes will still be on YouTube.
