"Could we BE any more excited about the Friends reunion? Obviously not! The moment we’ve literally been waiting for since Friends wrapped in 2004 is finally coming this week with the cast reunion hitting HBO’s streaming service, HBO Max, this Thursday, May 27.
Though we’ve gotten glimpses of the cast together over the years—remember the mini-reunion on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2013? Or that epic selfie Jennifer Aniston shared when she joined Instagram in fall 2019?—this will be the first time all six actors are reuniting in a big way to celebrate the sitcom’s 25th anniversary.

Friends: The Reunion, which is also being called “The One Where They Get Back Together,” will air on HBO’s recently-launched streaming service, HBO Max, on Thursday, May 27. The special will be available to stream on HBO Max starting at 12 a.m. PST and 3 a.m. EST and is expected to be about two hours long.

The Friends reunion stars the show’s original cast members—Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matthew Perry (Chandler), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), and David Schwimmer (Ross)—and was executive produced by the beloved series’ co-creators Kevin S. Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane.
During the unscripted reunion—it’s sadly not a new episode of Friends—the cast and real-life pals will revisit some of the show’s iconic sets, reminisce about filming, participate in table reads and re-enactments of past Friends episodes, and share behind-the-scenes footage from the original series.
The two-hour program will be hosted by James Corden and additionally feature a star-studded guest list that includes David Beckham, Justin Bieber, Cindy Crawford, Lady Gaga, Mindy Kaling, and Reese Witherspoon, just to name a few.

Fans can stream the reunion online or on a smart TV using the HBO Max app. The service costs $14.99 per month and users can cancel their subscription at any time.
