Experience

Julia’s editorial experience began in 2014 when she moved to New York City to follow her dreams of working as a celebrity news writer at In Touch Weekly and Life & Style Weekly. She was later named Online & Social Media Editor at Closer Weekly and grew the magazine’s digital team from a one-woman show to a team of five writers and editors. After nearly five years at Closer, Julia left her job as Executive Editor to follow her newfound passion for parenting content and joined The Everymom team in 2019. As Managing Editor of The Everymom, Julia helps manage a team of full-time editors and contributing writers, plans the brand’s editorial calendar, and project manages TEM’s sponsored content.

Julia has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
