Experience

Ever since she was introduced to editorial work during her freshman year of college in 2019, McKenna’s passion for the media field has continued to grow day by day. After working with and writing for College Magazine, College Fashionista, Her Campus, UW Muse, and more, she joined The Everygirl Media Group as an editorial intern in 2022. During her time as an intern, McKenna finished her final year at the University of Washington and received her BA in English: Creative Writing with a minor in Law, Societies, and Justice, then pivoted to become a full-time member of our sales team, focusing on branded content after graduating in June 2023.

Fun Stuff

McKenna’s dream day consists of waking up at 6 AM (after going to bed at 9 PM, as she’s a grandma at heart) to go on a run, coming home to read and curate niche Spotify playlists, heading to the beach for sunset, then going back home to throw an epic dinner party for her friends (or going to a fabulous SF restaurant if she’s too lazy to cook). She’s been told she has the “most California-sounding voice ever” and also knows a jarring amount of fun facts about English Premier League soccer and drag queens. She is also terrified of pigeons and seagulls.
