She holds a BA in Photography and an MS in Visual Communications from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, and her work has been featured in publications including The Everymom, Parents, Kindred, National Public Radio, Brides Magazine, and Artifact Uprising, among others. Martha currently lives in Northwest Pennsylvania with her husband, two children, and an exceptionally fluffy aging Australian shepherd.
