Our Editors’ Favorite Toys for Toddlers

"

Toddlerhood is my favorite phase to parent through by far.

Toddlers are completely in tune with the world around them, and they pick up information at lightning speed. As they explore their surroundings and discover how to be a person, you can almost see their sponge-like brains working in overtime. As a parent, it’s truly incredible to witness. Toddlerhood is a magical time when it comes to development.

It’s also when play truly begins. At this age, they begin to advance their skills and language quickly, which makes for exciting, inventive, and creative play. Of course, the best toys to help promote this development are the simple ones—no bells and whistles needed when your little toddler’s brain is on the go.
