As a mom of two, I’ve been through pretty much every way of feeding a baby. I breastfed, pumped while I was at work, combo-fed when my supply started to dip, and eventually transitioned to full formula feeding. And no matter how I fed my babies, there was always something to wash. Between nipple covers and a manual pump while breastfeeding, valves, diaphragms, breast shields, and caps from pumping, and extra bottle pieces for my boys’ reflux, my kitchen sink was basically a graveyard of tiny plastic parts. And if there’s one thing I remember all too well, it’s how much I dreaded washing everything at the end of the day.

Breast milk loves to stick to bottles, and even my dishwasher couldn’t always get rid of the residue, so I’d hand-wash everything, then sterilize and dry it all. All said and done, I remember spending 30 to 45 minutes on bottles, pump parts, and pacifiers. Sigh.

Now that I’m officially out of the constant bottle-and-pump-washing stage, it’s not exactly something I miss. So when I got the chance to test the new Momcozy DeepClean Baby Bottle Washer D8, I was curious to see if it could actually make that part of parenthood easier for other new moms. The 4-in-1 machine washes, sterilizes, dries, and stores bottles and other feeding gear, and after testing it (spoiler), I can definitely say I wish I’d had it during my kids’ first year. Here’s why:

The Momcozy DeepClean Bottle Washer D8 At A Glance

If I had to narrow down the DeepClean Bottle Washer’s biggest pluses, these are the things that stood out to me most:

  • The capacity: The ability to fit eight bottles at once is easily one of my favorite features. My old sterilizer always felt crowded, and I love that the DeepClean Bottle Washer gives you room to clean a larger batch at once.
  • The time savings: What used to take me almost 45 minutes of hands-on work each feeding can now be largely automated. You can load everything, start the machine, and walk away.
  • The cleaning power: I intentionally tested the DeepClean Bottle Washer with thick residue, and the bottles came out without the film I was used to seeing after using my dishwasher.
  • The versatility: It’s not limited to baby bottles. You can also use it for pump parts, pacifiers, and other feeding gear, and I was even able to fit my toddler’s water bottle inside.
  • The storage: Being able to leave clean bottles and parts inside the machine means one less thing cluttering up the kitchen.
  • The design: For a large baby appliance, the DeepClean Bottle Washer is surprisingly sleek. I don’t mind having it on my countertop, which is not something I can say about every piece of baby gear I’ve owned.

Of course, the DeepClean Bottle Washer isn’t a tiny appliance, so you’ll want to make sure you have dedicated countertop space for it. I also found that some pieces needed an additional drying cycle to be completely dry, although that took care of the extra moisture. And while I think this model makes the most sense for parents who are washing a lot of bottles and pump parts, someone who only uses one or two bottles a day may not have the same need for an appliance like this.

My First Impression of the Momcozy DeepClean Bottle Washer

If there’s only one word I’d use to describe this bottle washer, it’s sleek. I wasn’t expecting a baby bottle washer to be something I’d describe as pretty, but it actually looks lovely sitting on my kitchen counter. If I didn’t know what it was, I could probably mistake it for a coffee maker from a distance. I think that’s worth mentioning because (as all moms know), baby gear has a tendency to take over your home. Between bottle sterilizers, drying racks, breast pumps, and all the other equipment that comes with having a baby, I appreciate anything that doesn’t look like another bulky piece of equipment.

Setup was quick and straightforward

Getting the DeepClean Bottle Washer up and running was also easier than I thought it’d be. It took me about five minutes or less to set everything up, and just a couple of extra minutes going through the manual because I wanted to make sure I put each piece in the correct place. The instructions were easy to follow, and once I understood where everything went, loading it felt pretty intuitive.

The GlideWheel makes it easy to move

I was also pleasantly surprised by the GlideWheel feature. It can easily roll across my countertop, and I can turn it in different directions to get to all the bottles and pump parts inside. This is one of those features that might not sound particularly exciting until you actually have a large appliance sitting on your counter. Being able to move it around makes it so much easier to access when I need to fill or drain it, and it also makes it way less of a decision to position it wherever it works best in my kitchen.

The capacity is a huge upgrade

One of my favorite things about the DeepClean Bottle Washer is how much I can fit inside it. My old bottle sterilizer always felt crowded, but it comfortably fits up to eight bottles at once. That makes a major difference if you’re going through several bottles a day, exclusively pumping, or feeding multiples. Instead of washing a few bottles, running a cycle, and then starting all over again, you can clean a much larger batch at once.

I also really like that the height of the top shelf is adjustable. I tested it with my toddler’s Contigo water bottle, which has a taller cap and spout. It fit easily after I lowered the shelf height so I could close the lid. So even though this is designed with baby bottles and pump parts in mind, I can see getting use out of it beyond the infant stage or even more convenient for parents of two.

How Well Does the Momcozy DeepClean Bottle Washer Actually Clean?

Obviously, the biggest question in my Momcozy DeepClean Bottle Washer D8 review: does it actually clean well? It has 64 cleaning jets, including dedicated jets on the bottom rack for bottles and pump parts, and more precise jets on the top rack for smaller pieces like nipples, straws, and pacifiers. But I wasn’t interested in simply checking a box and saying the machine has a lot of jets—I wanted to see how it handled the kind of residue that made me hate washing bottles in the first place.

I put the cleaning power to the test

I have to admit, this test was a little gross. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve found a bottle hiding in the crevice of my car, at the bottom of a diaper bag, or somewhere on the couch with old milk still inside (ew, I know). When that happened, I was usually faced with two choices: throw the bottle away or spend way too much time trying to deep-clean and sterilize it.

To recreate that kind of situation without willingly subjecting myself to it, I poured milk and creamer—which is a little thicker—into bottles and left them sitting on the counter for about 30 minutes. Then I put them through the bottle washer to see how it would handle the residue. I was genuinely impressed when I checked the bottles afterward: There was no leftover milk film.

The dedicated spray jets also did a good job cleaning smaller, harder-to-reach pieces. As someone who remembers how many tiny pump parts I used to wash every day, this is a feature I would’ve begged for when my kids were babies.

What About Drying?

This bottle washer doesn’t just wash and sterilize—it also has a drying function, which is a big deal when you’re trying to get through an entire bottle-cleaning routine without adding even more steps. When I checked the bottles immediately after a cycle, I did notice some extra moisture in the nipples and at the bottom of the bottles. However, I ran them through another cycle using the dedicated drying feature, and that took care of it.

So while I wouldn’t necessarily say every single piece was completely dry after one cycle, the ability to run an additional drying cycle meant I wasn’t standing at the sink with a dish towel drying every bottle and pump part myself.

The Features That Would Have Saved Me the Most Time

It replaces multiple steps of the bottle-washing routine

When I think back to my bottle-washing days, the frustrating part wasn’t necessarily one individual task. It was that there were so many tasks. I had to wash the bottles and pump parts by hand. Then I had to sterilize everything. Then I had to dry everything. By the time I was finished, 30 to 45 minutes could easily be gone.

With the DeepClean Bottle Washer, you can load everything in under five minutes, press a button, and walk away. It handles washing, sterilizing, and drying in one machine. For a parent who is already exhausted at the end of the day, not having to stand at the sink for another half hour is a pretty compelling benefit.

The 72-hour hygienic storage is such a smart feature

Another feature I really like is the 72-hour hygienic storage function. Once everything is clean, you can leave the bottles and other parts inside the machine rather than immediately transferring them to a drying rack or finding another place to store them, which I especially like for overnight use. You can run the machine at the end of the day and leave everything inside until you need it again.

Being able to essentially hide all of those clean bottles and pump parts in plain sight is a big bonus. Instead of ending the day with a countertop covered in baby gear, everything can stay neatly inside the bottle washer.

The self-cleaning cycle is another big plus

One thing I remember about my old steam sterilizer is that it eventually got pretty gross itself from all of the milk residue that passed through it.

The DeepClean Bottle Washer has an automated self-cleaning cycle that takes about 30 minutes and helps clean out residue and handle descaling. I really appreciate this because the last thing I want is for the appliance that’s supposed to clean my baby’s feeding gear to become another thing I have to spend time scrubbing.

It’s a small feature, but it’s one that makes this model feel much more convenient to maintain over time.

My Mom Verdict: I Wish I Had This With My Kids

After going through every stage of feeding and pumping with both of my kids, I feel like I’ve earned the right to say that I have washed enough baby bottles for one lifetime. And if I could go back and add one piece of baby gear to my first-year setup, the Momcozy DeepClean Bottle Washer would be high on my list.

To me, this model is basically a miniature dishwasher for baby bottles, pump parts, pacifiers, etc. What I like most is that it takes the most tedious parts of the cleaning routine—washing, sterilizing, and drying—and puts them into one place, does a thorough clean and dry, and saves so much time. And if there’s anything mom needs, it’s some simplifying.

All in all, my biggest takeaway from this review is pretty simple: If your kitchen sink has ever looked like a bottle-and-pump-parts graveyard, the DeepClean Bottle Washer might just be the cleanup crew you’ve been waiting for.
