Few things are scarier than seeing your child start to choke. I’ve had to fish out a granola bar from my choking toddler’s mouth. Even though it’s been years, I still remember the moment vividly. And it’s no surprise choking is a serious concern for parents and caregivers. So paying attention to food and baby product recalls is important—including the most recent Fisher-Price recall of two baby toys for choking concerns.

On April 10, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced two recalls for Fisher-Price baby toys due to choking hazards: the Brunch & Go Stroller Toy and the tissue box sensory toy attached to the SnugaPuppy Baby Activity Center. Below, you’ll find out how to check to see if your baby’s toys are part of the recall and what to do if you have one of the recalled toys.

Which Fisher-Price Toys Are Being Recalled?

Brunch & Go Stroller Toys

The Fisher-Price Brunch & Go Stroller Toy affected by the recall features a pretend avocado toast and three attachments: a mirror tomato, a crinkle bacon, and an egg teether. According to the CPSC recall notice, “the yolk of the toy egg can crack and create small parts, posing a choking hazard to young children.”

Fisher-Price has received five reports of the yolk of the toy egg cracking and breaking. In two reports, an infant had a small piece in their mouth. Luckily, no injuries have been reported.

Model Number HGB85: The model number is on the tag attached to the toast.

Units Sold: About 253,000 (about 4,500 in Canada) sold at Hobby Lobby, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Marshalls, Nordstrom, Ross, TJMaxx, and Walmart stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com from February 2022 through March 2025.

Tissue Box Toy Sold with SnugaPuppy Activity Centers

The Fisher-Price SnugaPuppy Activity Center has a detachable sensory toy—a tissue box—that can come apart, exposing the small support brackets, and posing a choking hazard to young children, according to the CPSC recall report. The company has received one report of the tissue box toy coming apart and an infant placing the small support bracket in their mouth with no reported injuries.

Model Number HLV78: The model number is located on the underside of the table, near the Fisher-Price logo.

Units Sold: About 15,300 (and 2,000 in Canada) of the SnugaPuppy Activity Centers sold at Walmart stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and other websites from November 2022 through February 2025.

What Should I Do If My Fisher-Price Toy Is Part of the Recall?

Fisher-Price recommends consumers immediately stop using the recalled toys, keep them away from children, and contact Fisher-Price to receive free replacements. Consumers will be asked to provide a photo and additional information to receive their replacement. Find additional information about the recall at https://service.mattel.com/us/recall.aspx

For both products, the company recommends disposing of the recalled product in the trash after receiving a replacement confirmation email. Fisher-Price is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Additionally, expectant parents will want to check their baby registries. And parents and caregivers may want to alert their childcare providers if these products are used at at-home daycares, childcare centers, or even a grandparent’s house
