15 Snow Day Activities That Will Keep Everyone Entertained

Snow days are special and super fun – the first time. Four months into winter, they’re just annoying, and by then, you have no more sick days to cash in at work.

How are you supposed to get anything done? Or, more importantly, how will you keep your sanity together? Though the getting dressed and undressed for the snow is endless, the actual playing in the snow part only seems to last about 20 minutes before someone is hungry, too cold, or has to pee. So, what’s next? (is what your kids will say to you every 10 minutes for the rest of the day).

When screen time can only take you so far, here are some delightfully simple and easy crafts, activities, and easy recipes that both you and the kids will enjoy. Not only does having a plan make the day progress, but these adorable projects will keep your kids engaged so they’re not climbing and jumping on the furniture (for the most part, anyway).

The day will fly by and you’ll have some sweet kid-made art to show for it, and they’ll have the memory of being with you for a whole extra day (which makes it all worth it, right?).
