But for those little ones who love Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits, parents and caregivers will want to check the label as the brand was just part of a voluntary nationwide recall for the potential presence of soft plastic and/or paper pieces.
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration announced the recall of Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits on January 28, 2026, and is conducting a review. Gerber issued the recall out of an abundance of caution, adding that they are no longer working with the arrowroot flour supplier where the issue was identified. Thankfully, no illnesses or injuries have been reported. Here’s what else parents should know about the latest Gerber baby product recall.
Which Gerber products are part of the recall?
According to the FDA’s report, “this recall is isolated to limited batches of Gerber® Arrowroot Biscuits 5.5oz products produced between July 2025 and September 2025. In the U.S., this recall is nationwide. No other Gerber® products are impacted by this recall.”

Do not consume or feed this product to your child. Consumers can return the Gerber Arrowroot Biscuits to the retailer where they were purchased to receive a refund.

We sincerely apologize for any concerns or inconvenience this action causes for parents, caregivers, and retail customers.”
