With 3+ years of motherhood under my belt, I have learned just how important it has been to invest in quality products for your little ones. And when you take into account products that look stylish and are well made, there are a few brands that really stand out.

When my kids were born, I really wanted to wallpaper both of their nurseries, but struggled to find a design I could commit to for the long term. I’m glad I didn’t settle on a style I didn’t love since I then had blank canvases to use with Nestig’s newly-released wallpapers.
The wallpaper is made in Brazil in partnership with a woman-owned print shop and each batch is printed with Greenguard Gold certified inks on non-toxic paper. I will admit I spent way too much time looking at each wallpaper design, imagining it in my son’s nursery and seeing which style would take the look to the next level. I eventually chose the Paper Mache Wallpaper in the most beautiful mint tone. I went for an accent wall instead of covering the whole room, choosing to wallpaper the wall behind my little guy’s Wave Crib. The wallpaper’s design also picks up the beautiful tones in the room’s washable rug (also by Nestig!).

Though confident DIY-ers can install the wallpaper on their own, Nestig recommends getting professional installation, which is the route I decided to go. To cover the small wall behind my son’s crib, it took about an hour and a half for the pros to get it all up and set. I’m so happy with the results, and the wallpaper plus the rug totally change the vibe and stye of the room. Next, I’m looking at adding the Watercolor Wallpaper to my toddler daughter’s room.
