My husband may very well be the pickiest jean shopper to inhabit planet Earth. But considering how little the majority of us enjoy shopping for jeans, I won’t lay claim to that title on his behalf. For my husband, if he doesn’t like the fit, the material, the wash, the trendiness—the list goes on—then it is a hard pass, and the jeans either don’t cross the threshold of the store we’re shopping in, or they are promptly mailed back and deemed an online shopping mistake.

Because of my husband’s general view on jean shopping, it only makes sense that it’s not an activity he looks forward to. In contrast to my husband, however, I personally love shopping and am therefore always looking to help him find clothing he truly loves. They Fit True to Size
It’s no small secret that when it comes to shopping, “jeans” are usually at the top of most individuals’ “Things I Hate Shopping For” list of dread. Even when shopping in person, it can be a frustrating experience. Between brand sizing (as many of us know, every brand fits just a little bit differently) and material (i.e., stretch or no stretch), it can be difficult to find a style and size at any given moment that you find flattering and comfortable. Online shopping can be even more frustrating for obvious reasons.
One thing my husband loves about these Abercrombie men’s jeans is that they fit true to size. In other words, you get what you’re expecting after you hit “place order.” This quality, of course, makes for an ideal shopping experience—“They fit just like I expected them to.”—but also positions the pants as a great gifting item. You can buy them for the men in your life without having to worry about whether or not their usual size will fit.
They Feel Like Actual Jeans
My husband is very sensitive to any and all jeans that have any resemblance to jeggings. Stretch material is not his thing. These Athletic Straight Jeans contain very little elastane (1-2 percent, depending on the wash), which means the majority cotton construction allows the pants to maintain the consistency of traditional jeans. So, if you’re on the hunt for men’s jeans that actually feel like jeans, these are the pair for you.
They’re Comfortable
My husband comments on how comfortable these jeans are at least three times a week. He knows that I am already aware; he just loves them so much he can’t help but tell me almost every time he wears them. He comments on the material but also on their construction—he often tells me he loves the shape and that they are spacious without being unflattering. To quote a text message from my husband directly following a recent cross-country flight: “These Abercrombie jeans are the best I’ve ever owned. They’re so comfortable.”
I can attest that these jeans have become his life companion. I’ve seen him wearing them while scaling playground equipment, heading out the door to work, chauffeuring our family around, and more.

My husband is not a fashionista. He does not care about aesthetics or trends or being “in style” in general.
