Expertise

Patty fell in love with writing in the seventh grade. After becoming a mom, she found it as an outlet and created the blog “My Plated Life,” where she discussed finding her identity through cooking and motherhood—her husband can attest she’s become a much better cook. She loves anything from fashion to wellness and keeps it real when it comes to life as a mom.

Experience

Patty graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. She’s been an OG follower of The Everygirl since 2012 and was excited when The Everymom launched. Before interning with The Everymom, she managed her blog on the side while she worked as a pediatric nurse, where she fell in love with educating parents on how to care for their children. In 2023, she decided to pursue a career helping mothers through the medium of online media content.

Fun Stuff

When she’s not working, you can find her spending time with her family, training for half marathons—she ran one 16 weeks pregnant—traveling, cooking, reading a rom-com, and keeping her sourdough starter, Rose, alive. If you were to raid her purse, you’d see she doesn’t go anywhere without her Kindle and chapstick.
