Prime Day is here again! If you’ve been waiting all year to purchase some of Amazon’s bestselling products—everything from a Fire Tablet to a robot vacuum—now’s your chance. To help your shopping go smoothly, The Everymom editors rounded up some of their favorite products (in no particular order!) that are on mega sale during Prime Day this year.
Prime Day is actually not just one but two days—Monday, June 21 and Tuesday, June 22— so if you miss out on your favorite item or simply need an extra day to browse deals online, this year’s sale is perfect for you. If you’re not familiar with Prime Day, read for more info or scroll down to our shopping picks below!
What is Prime Day?
Prime Day is an Amazon online sale event exclusively for Amazon Prime members. It started back in 2015, the year Amazon celebrated 20 years of e-commerce business.
When is Prime Day 2021?
Prime Day is actually two days; Monday, June 21 and Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Last year, the pandemic pushed the shopping “holiday” back to October. But this year, Prime Day returns for our summer shopping enjoyment, meaning major savings on Amazon brand products, top-rated kitchen gadgets, best sellers, Prime wardrobe finds, and more.
What’s on sale for Prime Day?
In 2020, some of the top products sold in the U.S. ranged from tech gadgets to family entertainment finds, like the iRobot Roomba Robot Vacuum, MyQ Wireless & WiFi Enabled Smart Garage Door Opener, LifeStraw Personal Water Filter, and Kids Against Maturity: Card Game for Kids and Families.
This year, we still expect gadgets and Amazon brand products like Echo and Kindle to be top sellers, along with products people are seeking for outdoor entertainment, increasing travel, and home upgrades.
How do I know Prime Day deals are going to be the best prices?
According to Amazon, Prime members saved more than $1.4 billion during Prime Day last year. But you may want to price shop as other retailers are now running similar sales at the same time like Target’s Deal Days—starting June 20. Target Deal Days is offering three days of online sales with no membership requirement (like Prime) plus an option for store pick-up. If 2021 is similar to last year, we can also expect to see adjacent Prime Day sales from Kohl’s, Walmart, Home Depot, and more.
Additionally, Amazon offers limited “Lightening Deals” throughout the days, so it could be worth checking back.
