What is Prime Day?
Prime Day is an Amazon online sale event exclusively for Amazon Prime members. It started back in 2015, the year Amazon celebrated 20 years of e-commerce business.
When is Prime Day 2024?
Prime Day is actually two days: Tuesday, July 16, and Wednesday, July 17, 2024. This year, Prime Day returns for our summer shopping enjoyment, meaning major savings on Amazon brand products, top-rated kitchen gadgets, best sellers, Prime wardrobe finds, and more.
What’s on sale for Prime Day?
In 2023, some of the top products sold in the U.S. ranged from tech gadgets to family entertainment finds to personal health items. This year, we still expect gadgets and Amazon brand products like Echo and Kindle to be top sellers, along with products people are seeking for outdoor entertainment, travel, and home upgrades. According to Amazon, there will be great deals on brands like Clinique, Allbirds, Sony, KitchenAid, and Kiehl’s.
You can also expect tons of deals in the Back to School and Off to College storefronts, which are perfect for getting everything your kids need come August. You can even shop early deals right now!
How do I know Prime Day deals are going to be the best prices?
According to Amazon, Prime members saved more than $2.5 billion during Prime Day last year. You may want to price shop as other retailers are now running similar sales at the same time. If 2024 is similar to last year, we can also expect to see adjacent Prime Day sales from Target, Kohl’s, Walmart, Home Depot, and more.
Additionally, Amazon offers limited “Lightning Deals” and “Invite-Only Deals” throughout the days, so it could be worth checking back.
