The best way to prepare for Prime Day is basically the same way I prepare for holidays or birthdays: with an Amazon shopping list. In preparation for this year’s Prime Day, I started moving some of the mom essentials from the too-full “Saved for later” section of my Amazon cart to a “Saved for Prime Day” wish list. That way, when the deals finally hit today, I could easily just move them to my cart.
Between the holiday sweet treats and cold, dry weather, this Anti-Aging & Acne LED Device is our hack for radiant, youthful skin in minutes (who has more time than that anyway?)
We highly recommend looking through your Amazon lists of things you’ve saved recently to see if you can score extra savings on Prime Day. This helps you pick out things you actually wanted or needed, rather than just buying random things because they’re on sale.
So, what are the best deals for moms to shop on Amazon Prime Day? For me, it’s a mix of things for myself (finally getting a Kindle for all that summer reading), home things (an electric tea kettle!), and kid things (time to replace all of the water bottles for summer and the next school year). Keep reading for some of the mom essentials I’m shopping for during Amazon Prime Day 2024.
When is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is actually two days: Tuesday, July 16, and Wednesday, July 17, 2024. This year, Prime Day returns for our summer shopping enjoyment, meaning major savings on Amazon brand products, top-rated kitchen gadgets, best sellers, Prime wardrobe finds, and more.
This is also the perfect time to join Amazon Prime if you are not already a member. In the U.S., you can join for $14.99 per month or $139 per year or sign up for a 30-day free trial if eligible. This provides you access to Prime Day deals, as well as free, fast shipping, Prime Video, and more all year long.
Amazon Prime Day Shopping List for Moms
Amazon-branded products (such as Kindles) and other top Amazon brands (like CRZ Yoga) are some of the best deals this Prime Day. I’m using this as a sign for me to finally treat myself to a Kindle. This way, I can say goodbye to reading my summer beach reads inside by the glare of my iPad.
I’m also just getting in on the Amazon fashion section. I’m loving their chic summer sets and their amazing-yet-affordable activewear. As for beauty items, I’ve also been looking for the right time to invest in a red light therapy mask. Luckily for me, the affordable option below has over 1,800 positive reviews.
Amazon Prime Day Shopping List for the Home
One of my goals for this year is to invest in our bedroom and our family’s small outdoor space. Upgrading to cooling sheets and adding a great mirror to our room will make the whole place feel cozier. We’re also big pizza heads, and the Ooni Pizza Oven has been at the top of my list of investments for a while. Kitchen basics are always on sale on Amazon Prime Day, so I have an electric tea kettle on my list as well.
Amazon Prime Day Shopping List for the Kids
My son is going into third grade next year, so it’s time to replace some of our tried-and-true school gear. Prime Day is the perfect time to stock up on the latest water bottles for kids, upgrade to a stainless steel lunchbox, or invest in a new big kid backpack. I’m also replacing some of our favorite outdoor summer staples, like a nice blow-up pool.
