When it comes to exploring new recipes, we have more options than ever for discovering our favorites. Gone are the days of simply relying on a cookbook or the recipes that grandma passes down—although those still have a special place in our hearts. Now, we have an infinity of recipe blogs, YouTube videos, Pinterest boards, and Facebook/Instagram/TikTok posts to sift through. Sometimes it makes me wonder if it’s even possible to come up with a recipe that’s 100% original and that actually reaches the level of lip-smacking good.

But here’s the thing, now it’s not just about cooking up something brand new, but seeing how many ways we can come up with fun and creative twists on what’s already been done. And in my opinion, there’s no better place to see this coming to life than on TikTok. Yes, we may be seeing recipes whose ingredients we’re all-too-familiar with, but the best TikTok recipes remix them in ways that show us something fresh. Plus, when they’re all under a minute long and present everything you need to know visually, a recipe really doesn’t get much easier! We know you only have so much bandwidth for “viral” videos. However, in this case, we promise that there’s a good chance these will be some of the best TikTok recipes worth your while.

Read on to discover the most delicious and best TikTok recipes your family will love.

13 of the Best TikTok Recipes Your Family Will Love

1. Cloud Bread

Not sure what’s more enticing, this bread’s brilliant blue or its wonderfully puffy appearance. Either way, the prospect of taking a big bite out of a piece of cloud bread is certainly inviting. Essentially, all you have to do is combine whipped egg whites with sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, and food coloring, shape the dough before baking it, and voilá, you’re on cloud nine! No flour needed. And, you can let your kiddos pick the colors (as well as use plant-based food coloring if you prefer).

2. Spaghetti Pancakes

Have a favorite pancake recipe? This is the occasion to make it shine! Whether you’re a fan of making them from scratch or have a winning store-bought mix on-hand, just get your hands on a condiment bottle and you’re all set to make this unique variation. While you won’t be able to include any mix-ins in the batter like blueberries, bananas, or chocolate chips—as they’ll get stuck in the bottle when you go to squeeze out your “spaghetti”—you can always incorporate them into the bowls of warm spaghetti pancakes afterward. Get your syrup, honey, butter, powdered sugar, whipped cream, and whatever other pancake toppings your family enjoys ready, because every spaghetti needs its sauce!

3. Nature’s Cereal

This antioxidant-forward “cereal” is one of the many examples of creatively sensationalizing something we might not otherwise think of. By layering together your family’s favorite berries, pouring in coconut water, and topping it off with ice cubes (for some extra cool), you’ve presented a healthy dose of fruit for the day. It may not be Lucky Charms or Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but it does offer everyone a fun approach to eating fresh fruit. Originally made popular by rapper and singer Lizzo, we definitely think this fruit-forward cereal’s got the juice!

4. Yogurt Toast

Usually we’re trying to decide between toast or a fruit and yogurt parfait for breakfast. In this case, why not combine them together in this decadent yogurt custard toast recipe? Since the yogurt is blended with an egg, this is a nutritious way to receive omega-3s, protein, calcium, and probiotics all at once. Coupled with the fruit toppings and a whole grain toast, you’re well on your way to crossing off a lot of the food pyramid for the morning!

5. Make Ahead Breakfast Sandwiches

You’ll never have to make that rushed pit stop to the McDonald’s drive through for breakfast again thanks to Grandma Babs. This is an easy and efficient way to create a bunch of hearty breakfast sandwiches that can be frozen and reheated in the microwave at a moment’s notice. Grains and protein? Check. Calcium and omega fatty acids? Check. Veggies? Hopefully a check! Babs sprinkles pepper and onion into her eggs, and if you think you can entice your kiddos into some veggie mix-ins, that’s an extra nutrient win, too!

6. Baked Feta

Who would have guessed that a dish so unimposing when it comes to mind would take off like a rocket in view counts? Whether it’s the bright, juicy-looking cherry tomatoes, the huge hunk of creamy feta, or the splashy drizzle of olive oil, it’s easy to see why this baked feta pasta recipe deserves its place in the limelight. It also leaves you with a simple, yummy, and nourishing meal in under 30 minutes. If you have a kiddo who loves lending a helping hand in the kitchen, they’ll have a blast stirring the feta and tomatoes together once they come out of the oven, casting in the basil leaves like confetti, and folding in the noodles for the final touch.

7. Pizza Baguette

This is a baguette upgrade, hands-down. What could be more appetizing than biting into a warm baguette dripping with plenty of gooey cheese and loaded with your favorite pizza sauces/toppings? By creating slices in the baguette, you’re able to fill them with the toppings and sauce, and then garnish with your preferred cheese(s) along the top. While she uses pepperoni and red sauce in this video, you can opt to change it up to be whatever pizza or combination of pizzas (hey, the baguettes are long enough) you desire.

8. Pasta Chips

What starts as making pasta the way you normally would transforms into a crispy crunchy delight in a matter of 25 minutes by baking the noodles at 400 degrees F. If you were thinking about serving up pasta for dinner, try out this dish’s hands-on style and pair it with the tasty-looking baked marinara sauce with melted cheese on top. And, these pasta chips will go alongside your choice of protein and veggies quite nicely, too.

9. Tortilla Wrap Hack

Who knew one simple cut in a tortilla shell could make all the difference in its wrap-ability?  Perhaps we were all overlooking anything other than our standard approach to loading up a tortilla with our favorite fillings—always spreading them evenly across the whole thing and rolling/folding it up. At any rate, this hack invites you to prepare your tortillas in a whole new way by organizing the placement of your fillings, and cutting the tortilla halfway up one side. This reel presents you with five tasty choices–chicken, burger, pizza, taco, and vegetarian—but of course you can also get creative and DIY.

10. Tortilla Wrap Hack – S’mores Edition

If you were hoping for a dessert option in order to hop on the tortilla wrap hack train, you’re in luck! This s’mores edition will definitely satisfy any sweet tooth.

11. Kylie Jenner’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Kylie Jenner-stamped anything is bound to be popular. In this case, her chocolate chip cookie recipe is no exception! We’re not sure what, exactly, makes this recipe different from other typical chocolate chip cookie recipes (maybe it’s something about the extra dose of brown sugar?), but one thing’s for sure: they’re melt-in-your-mouth fantastic after they’ve had a moment to cool out of the oven.

12. Deviled Strawberries

This is the ultimate sweet treat counterpart to the classic egg-based appetizer. While it doesn’t pack on the protein or omega-3s the way deviled eggs do, it’s certainly a way to get a little fruit into everybody’s mouths. And, the whipped combination of cream cheese, cream, and melted chocolate is divine. Top them with rainbow sprinkles to make them extra festive!

13. Oreo Sushi

With only two ingredients—Oreos and milk—this recipe could also count as a craft with kiddos (if you can stop them from eating the Oreos along the way). Basically, you separate the Oreos and cream filling (does anyone else do that anyway?) and combine each with milk. The cream filling and milk blend together for the sushi roll filling, while the crushed cookies and milk are shaped into the roll. There are always dozens of Oreo flavors to choose from on the shelf, so go wild and discover which rolls taste best! Oh, and don’t forget your soy sauce–I mean, milk–for dipping.
