The soundtracks that define my motherhood really come down to this: Moana, Encanto, and KPop Demon Hunters. I mean, if you haven’t had a car sing-along to Golden, are you really even a parent? The Netflix movie phenomenon started popping off last summer, and the KPop Demon Hunters fandom was everywhere. Golden became number one on the Billboard 100, and went on to win the Oscar for Best Original Song. A world tour was announced, not to mention the movie was basically on repeat in every home. KPop Demon Hunters were also the *it* costume of 2025—Spirit Halloween‘s officially licensed Huntr/x costumes sold out in one day. We anticipate they’ll still be popular for Halloween 2026, with new costume versions and toddler sizes out now.
Plus, Amazon, Etsy, Target, and Netflix are also selling fun KPop merch and clothing items from the movie, like Rumi’s Choo Choo teddy bear pajama pants, Mira’s grumpy polar bear sweatshirt, and Saja Boys pastel shirts, so a DIY KPop Demon Hunters Halloween costume is a creative alternative to a store-bought costume, too. Here’s where you can buy—or DIY—your kids and family KPop Demon Hunters costumes right now.

Official KPop Demon Hunters costumes
The popular costume company, Spirit Halloween, teamed up with Netflix to sell the official KPop Demon Hunters HUNTR/X costumes in-store and online at Spirit Halloween, with new Golden styles and toddler sizes out in 2026. Target also expanded their KPop Demon Hunters costume collection with budget-friendly options under $30. Grab these early; Target sizes are already selling out!

Rumi KPop Demon Hunters costumes
The most popular of the Huntr/x costumes, according to search data (and last year’s Halloween school parade), in 2026 kids (and grown-ups) can dress as the iconic Golden girl with plenty of options: dressed in her iconic black, white, and gold performance gear, casual Rumi in her Choo Choo PJ pants, or the recognizable yellow jacket. Plus, this year, accessories like a sword or Derpy Tiger can add playful costume details.
Mira KPop Demon Hunters kids’ costumes
Does your kid relate to the wild-child rebel Mira? For a Mira KPop Demon Hunters costume, pop hair into two high pigtails and grab one of these fun costumes—don’t forget her iconic sword as a prop.
Zoey KPop Demon Hunters kids’ costumes
Does the bubbly, energetic member of Huntr/x embody your child’s spirit? Then Zoey might be the KPop Halloween costume of choice. A Zoey outfit could be an edgy, streetwear look or glitter in a Golden performance costume. Either way, she needs her twin space buns. For a unique Zoey costume few others will have, you could also try the Korean yangmeori hair towel tutorial.

Saja Boys costumes
Perhaps your kids were more Soda Pop than Take Down. They can dress as the “villains” from KPop Demon Hunters with a Jinu costume—or any favorite members of the Saja Boys (Baby was a kid favorite last year!)
Derpy Tiger kids’ Halloween costumes
The Derpy Tiger—Jinu’s reappearing messenger—is a kid-favorite character in KPop Demon Hunters. And it makes for a cute and cozy Halloween costume—and a creative pumpkin carving idea!
DIY Derpy Tiger costume
Start with an all-blue outfit (or grab a pair of striped pajamas like the ones linked below) and add black painter’s tape for the Derpy Tiger’s stripes. Then grab ears or a Derpy Tiger hat to top off the costume for this cute KPop sidekick.
KPop Demon Hunters DIY costume ideas
While Rumi will no doubt be the most popular costume again for 2026, KPop Demon Hunters is a fun group or sibling costume for family and friends. If villains are more their style, dress up as the Saja Boys. Or if you want something kids can wear after Halloween, a pair of Rumi leggings or Huntr/x fan gear can double as Halloween costumes, too!
The Saja Boys
The intro to the Saja Boys is one of the most memorable scenes in the movie. Have dad dress as Jinu for a KPop Demon Hunters family costume or grab your jeans and your best pastel to put together the perfect group costume. Bonus points for creativity if you carry around cans of (my little) “Soda Pop.”

Huntrix-inspired outfits
Sometimes putting together your own costume is a little more fun than buying a store-bought costume. Here are some ideas to start your own KPop Demon Hunters costume, with more DIY costume hacks on The Everymom Instagram here.
Be proud of your patterns with these Rumi-inspired leggings—perfect for layering on Halloween!
‘Couch’ versions of Rumi, Mira, and Zoe
The casual Huntrix girls could also be a fun—and cozy—costume idea. In fact, they basically wear my daily mom uniform in some scenes (grey hoodie, leggings, and white sneakers). Additionally, Netflix, Etsy, and Amazon are selling a ton of tees, sweatshirts, and pajama pants seen in the movie, so get cute and comfy with these costume options. Huntrix or Saja Boys fans
The fans really had their own power in the KPop Demon Hunters movie, and no group costume would be complete without them. Parents can dress as fans to complete a creative family costume that little ones will love.
KPop Demon Hunters wigs and accessories
Let’s be honest, the hair is quintessential to any KPop Demon Hunters costume. Start with signature hairstyles—pigtails for Mira, a dragon braid for Rumi, and double buns for Zoe—and add temporary hair color. Or grab a wig to complete the look.
Accessories can also take a costume from cute to creative. Add a package of ramen, grab Zoe’s bucket hat, or give little ones a Derpy Tiger plushy to carry around to complement the costume.

KPop Demon Hunters costume hacks
Creative parents and makers have been sharing their DIY KPop Demon Hunters costume hacks, including Rumi braid tutorials and Derpy Tiger trick-or-treating totes. Here are some of my favorites:
Rumi’s dragon braid tutorial
Grab a purple hair extension to create this Rumi braid—a less itchy alternative to a store-bought wig.
DIY Saja Boys costume using a modified witch hat
This creative mom modified a witch hat with some glue, cardboard, and beads to create the traditional gat hat that the Saja Boys wear in the movie. She then used a graduation-style robe with some red roping to complete the costume.
Derpy Tiger DIY trick-or-treating candy bucket
Grab a traditional orange plastic trick-or-treat pumpkin, some spray paint, and get crafty for the perfect KPop Demon Hunters costume accessory.
KPop Halloween FAQs
Spirit Halloween partnered with Netflix to sell officially licensed HUNTR/X costumes, both in-store and online, with new Golden styles and toddler sizes now available. Zara has a limited selection, and Target also carries budget-friendly options under $30, though sizes tend to sell out fast—the same thing happened in 2025, when Spirit Halloween’s costumes sold out in a single day.
Rumi is consistently the top pick, based on search data and real-world sightings like school Halloween parades. Her look ranges from her black-white-and-gold performance outfit to a casual version with her yellow jacket or Choo Choo pajama pants—all with her signature dragon braid.
A Jinu costume works well for a dad-led family theme, while the group look can be recreated with jeans, a pastel button-down, and a Saja Boys hat. For a DIY version, some people have modified a witch hat into the traditional gat with cardboard, glue, and beads, then paired it with a graduation-style robe and red roping.
