Expertise

Emma loves covering a wide range of subjects, from mental wellbeing to dating to beauty trends. With a degree in American Studies, Emma is especially passionate about evaluating the impact pop culture and internet culture has on the day-to-day lives of real women. She is also trained in creative nonfiction writing and loves to produce strongly-worded and well-researched opinion articles, personal stories, and think pieces.

Experience

Emma joined The Everygirl as an editorial intern in 2021 when she was a sophomore in college. Since then, she has assisted with the growth of The Everygirl Podcast since its launch in 2022, while honing her writing skills on her own time. After graduating, Emma joined The Everygirl full-time in 2023.

Fun Stuff

Emma’s top fun fact is that she wrote her thesis about Martha Stewart, so she has over 70 pages of info about America’s OG influencer living rent-free in her head at all times. She’s from Denver—she is “crunchy” by blood, not by choice—but is currently living out her single-girl-in-a-big-city dreams in Chicago, where she’s fallen in love with dive bars and lake days. When Emma is not working, you can find her taking a pilates class, reading for one of her multiple book clubs, being chronically online, or doing dinner parties with her friends.
