Expertise

Pushed to the creative brink during quarantine, Brett started a lifestyle blog called, “by, Brett Nicole” in 2020 where she shared about her travels, latest reading obsessions, and more. As her love for writing grew from a hobby into a passion, she joined The Everygirl Media Group as an intern in 2022. Now, she loves working with experts to write about child development and relationships, taking deep dives into the latest wellness craze, and expanding The Everymom’s catalog of baby name content.

Experience

At the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, Brett received a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication and minored in Creative Writing before graduating in 2018. It took her a few years, a global pandemic, and a move across the country to realize her love for editorial work. In the meantime, she found a home within a health insurance brokerage. She has held several freelance writing positions throughout the years where she has been able to showcase her writing abilities throughout a myriad of topics.

Fun Stuff

As a native Wisconsinite, Brett is a firm believer that the best bloody mary comes from her home state and should always be accompanied by a complimentary Spotted Cow (if you know, you know). When she’s not writing, you can find her at a country music concert, spending time with her family, baking something out of a Joanna Gaines cookbook, or combing through local antique shops.
