It’s officially October, and in addition to the fall aesthetic, it also means it’s witchy season. With the craze and the recent premiere of Practical Magic 2, the mark of the 30th anniversary of the nostalgic ‘90s teen sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and people flocking to Salem, Massachusetts, on its 400th anniversary this year, I’ve found myself leaning into all things witchy. I already have my Halloween decor out (featuring witch hats and brooms, of course), and my October fashion is swaying toward outfits inspired by Practical Magic. But what better way to get in the spooky mood than by watching movies featuring witches this season?

If you’re looking for the perfect movie to watch on family movie night, then stream one of these flicks about witches. Whether you’re looking for a film for toddlers, a feel-good witch movie that isn’t scary, or a film that will have you spooked down to your bones, you’ve come to the right place. Here, you’ll find must-watch movies about witches and wizards, and to help you decide if it’s the right pick for you or your kids, I’ve categorized them by age, and I’m sharing exactly how “witchy” they are.
